Subject: Questions about the hallucination paper
Date: Thu, 2 Apr 1998 17:06:07 -0600

Dr. Harmond:

I have read over the paper you published on the internet about
hallucinations several times. I am VERY interested. I did have a few
questions however:

1)In the second paragraph of your paper you state "As soon as one is able
to believe that they can enter the framed image, the part of the brain
commonly referred to as the imagination, takes over...A postcard of the
beach on a Greek island will take you to that island..." I was curious as
to whether you meant that you could physically go to that place, or
mentally.

2)What "gaps" have to be filled in to enter the photograph?

3)If you can physically go to a place that is in a picture, is it possible
to go to a place that has been photographed in the past?

4)Is it possible to transmit lies through our eyes? (Hey! I'm a poet and
I didn't know it! Ha Ha!)

If there is any information you could give me, I would be very interested
to here it. If you can't, thank you for taking the time to read this
anyway.

Sincerely,

B
